A young Aussie who quit his job with four weeks notice has complained after his boss didnt even say bye on his last day at work.

The Sydneysider, who DJs under the stage name Soul Wun, said he felt like the worst employee of the year after the awkward farewell.

So I quit my job a month ago and gave my boss a months notice, he said in a TikTok filmed in his car just moments after his last shift.

Today was my last day, and I just left, and he didnt even f****** say goodbye to me.

What the f*** man, worst employee of the f****** year award goes to me, obviously.

Aussies were divided over the snub, with some describing the boss as ungrateful and others saying the treatment was fair enough.

I left Bunnings after 33 years, my manager didnt even say goodbye, one man said.

People dont leave bad jobs they leave bad managers. [I] guess he just wanted to give you a little going-away gift in the form of soul-crushing disregard, another said.

They literally dont care, its so sad. They expect you to put everything into working for them and youre just a number to them, a third said.

Last job I was there eight years and once I gave my notice (over a month), not a single word was spoken to me by either of the bosses, and I was the manager of my department! another woman shared.

Like, how am I supposed to do my work if you won’t even communicate with me.

But others were less sympathetic for the harsh treatment.

Expecting benevolence from our employers is definitely a trend that should end, one viewer wrote.

Okay then, on behalf of your boss, goodbye. You happy now? another said.

Not saying youre a bad worker, but he didnt need you, or like you (obviously), he used that month to find a better candidate, a third added.

Taking it personally or not is up to you.

Unless you were friends why would you expect a goodbye? employees are replaceable, another said.

Ive seen good people move on and be replaced within a week.

One suggested the bosss motive was entirely to the contrary.

Nah, you were too good, he said.

Hes just miserable he lost a good one and too high and mighty to admit it.
