A spokesperson for the Yemeni militant group said: This war is the war of the entire Ummah. 

Explosions were heard in Tehran overnight as Iranians welcomed new Persian new year. The Israeli military has said it is carrying out strikes on key infrastructure. 

A number of Gulf countries are also again being attacked by Iran. Kuwait state media reported that drones had caused a fire at an oil refinery. 

The UAE said its air defences were responding to incoming missiles and drones.
