In a video posted to TikTok, she shared her frustration over the discovery that the same bed frame she bought from the upscale retailer for $549 was available for $255 from Walmart.
Nikki, who goes by @djthepartiyorkie on TikTok, also expressed dismay that Laguna Metal Bed is made by DHP (Dorel Home Products), whose products are available through other online retailers, like Amazon.
Personally, I think that Pottery Barn should be, like, pretty disgusted with themselves that nowhere on the website does it say its not a Pottery Barn product - you wont realize it until it arrives, she said.

Nikki was initially stunned to see a bed frame from Pottery Barn available for such a low price, assuming it was featured in the retailer’s kids section.
The bed was what I was looking for,’ she said in the September 10 clip, describing its size as ‘perfect’ for her space.
After the order arrived late, she said, the shopper spotted a DHP label on the box almost immediately.
You can get DHP furniture on Amazon or Walmart or a lot of different sites, Nikki explained..
Its just, like, really disappointing that Pottery Barn would upsell something so much that you can get on Walmart.
Nikki purchased the king-sized Laguna Metal Bed frame for $549 on Pottery Barns website. Walmarts Mainstays Farmhouse Metal Bed is an exact duplication worth $255
Nikki said in a follow-up video that a member of Pottery Barn’s social media team reached out to her and the company gave her a partial refund.
But it still wasnt enough to satisfy the shopper, who claimed that members of its customer support team treated her like absolute crap.
She railed against the retailer for making people think that they are getting a better product than they actually are.
It is so disappointing that somebody did reach out on social media, and all they needed to say was, "We are so sorry for the inconvenience. We see this was, like, really not handled well, here is a $100 gift card," Nikki said.
Nikki insisted that she would no longer shop at Pottery Barn and advised TikTokers to research images and really second guess any potential purchases from its website.

Several TikTok users insisted Nikki buy furniture from Amazon or Walmart instead.
One commenter claimed a similar thing happened after purchasing woven coasters.
Pottery Barn not listed anywhere on the box,’ the person wrote. ‘It was just cheap looking coasters you could buy online.
Another user added: Most of the big stores dont manufacture their own furniture - often times you can use a dupe website to find the exact same item for cheaper.
