A recent recall on several brands of eggs was announced due to salmonella outbreaks in nine states

The FDA recalled chicken eggs from Milos Poultry Farms and Tonys Fresh Market due to a salmonella outbreak in nine states.

Earlier this month, the FDA gave the recall a Class I label, meaning that there is a reasonable probability that exposure to the eggs will cause serious adverse health consequences or death.

Distributed by Wisconsin-based Milos Poultry Farms, LLC, the contaminated eggs have sickened 65 people and hospitalized 24.
