Urgent hunt for missing girl, 11, who has not been seen since Saturday night

An urgent hunt has begun for a missing 11-year-old girl who has not been seen since yesterday evening. 

Katie Gear was last seen on residential street St Georges Road in the town of Gillingham, Kent, at around 8pm yesterday. 

The schoolgirl is described as being 5ft 4in, of medium build and having mousey brown hair.

Katie, who went missing in the Medway borough of the county, was wearing a light blue T-shirt which said Game Over Continue on it. 

She was also wearing black tracksuit bottoms and black and white Nike trainers. 

Officers from Kent Police have put out an urgent appeal for help to locate her.  

Anyone with information about where she is should call 999, quoting the reference number 6-0290.
