Trump confirms he will go on the Joe Rogan podcast after rampant speculation

Donald Trump confirmed he will be appearing on Joe Rogans podcast after two years of mixed signals. 

During an appearance on the Nelk Boys Full Send podcast, host Kyle Forgeard, 30, asked the Republican presidential nominee if he would go on Rogans podcast if he were invited. 

Oh, sure I would, Trump, 78, said in a clip posted on Instagram. I mean, I think Im doing it, actually.

Forgeard asked one more time to be clear and Trump solidified his answer.

In 2022, Rogan, 57, was adamant about never having Trump on his The Joe Rogan Experience because he did not want to help the Republican partys campaign.

During an interview with Lex Fridman that year, Rogan said he turned down multiple offers to have Trump on his podcast.

I’m not a Trump supporter in any way, shape or form. I’ve had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once - I’ve said no, every time, Rogan said. 

He added: I don’t want to help him. I’m not interested in helping him.

Now, the comedian and UFC commentator has a different perspective. 

Since he shut down the idea two years ago, Rogan has dropped several hints about Trump coming on for a show. 

In an episode of his podcast with guest Patrick Bet-David last August, Rogan was asked when he would have Trump on. He responded I dont know, which was not a definite refusal.

Probing further, Bet-David suggested he thought Rogan might have something with Trump in the works, to which he responded, maybe.

In the interview with Bet-David, Rogan discussed a list of questions he had already thought about asking Trump if he ever did appear on his show. 

Tesla and X CEO Elon Musk also played a role in fostering rumors and speculation about a Trump-Rogan collaboration when he posted on Thursday: It will happen. 

This came after a Zero Hedge article about Rogan and Trump was published titled Joe Rogan has 25 days to interview Donald Trump.

Trump was interviewed by Fridman last month and he said that Rogan had not invited him to join him on The Joe Rogan Experience. 

The former president told Lex Fridman on his September podcast episode: I dont think that there was any tension and Ive always liked him. But I dont know him.

I only see him when I walk into the arena with Dana [White] and I shake his hand. 

I see him there and I think hes good at what he does but I dont know about doing his podcast.

On Thursday, Tesla and X CEO Elon Musk exacerbated these suggestions after he responded to a Zero Hedge article concerning a potential sit down between the two

He did admit to Fridman that he would go on Rogans podcast, but he was not asked to and he was not asking anybody either. 

Now that Trump said he is going on Rogans podcast, fans have shown their excitement. 

Under the Instagram post, one user wrote: That will literally be the most watched podcast of all time.

Lets go! Well deserved, another added.  

Trump has already guest-starred on several popular podcasts, including Theo Vons. 

Democratic nominee Kamala Harris, 59, recently joined Alex Cooper on her Call Her Daddy podcast.

But Cooper received backlash for the surprise interview, for her softball questioning and politicizing her show. 

Unsubscribed and unfollowed, wrote one fan in the comments of an Instagram tease of the podcast.

Im so disappointed, this feels like propaganda and trying to make her look "gen z," added another. Youre gonna look back on this one day and regret it when we are in a war because of her. SMH, truly smh. You just lost a lot of respect.
