TikTok star Caleb Graves said hed lost control of [my] body in his final video posted the day before the half-marathon at Disneyland where he collapsed and died.

Graves, 33, is a travel blogger and Disney theme park fan with over 17,000 followers on the video platform, where he shared his training for Sundays Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon.

He admitted that he had some sort of susceptibility to the extreme heat and said that a mere 20-minute walk outdoors with his dog had made him pass out 10 minutes after he returned to his residence.

I just passed out, he said. Just fell asleep, no control over my body, it was heat exhaustion. Its only happened to me once before. I dont whats going on, but I really hope I get through the race tomorrow morning!

Anaheim police said that Graves collapsed after crossing the finish line at around 7am local time and was immediately given assistance by emergency crews.

The runner crossed the finish line. As soon as he did, one of the workers at the marathon noticed the gentleman was clutching his chest, Sergeant Matt Sutter told Entertainment Weekly. They noticed he was going into cardiac arrest.

Graves was taken to a local hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead just an hour after he finished the race.

The day before the race, Graves final video began with the 33-year-old lying down, exhausted, wearing just a towel or a blanket after preparing that day.

The Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon is tomorrow and Im... marginally worried, he said, seemingly exasperated, in the clip.

I went outside today around like, two oclock which is part of the hottest part of the day. It was 97 degrees and there are other places in the country that are obviously hotter, I know people are gonna say its not terrible... I grew up in Texas, I know what he is like, he said, trying to dissuade people from thinking he was complaining.

He explained that exposure to UV rays in Anaheim, where the race was held, was its own kinda beast before talking about the heat exhaustion he suffered from while out with his dog.

Temperatures in Anaheim were well over 100 degrees that weekend, hitting 110 on Friday and 107 Sunday. In his video, Graves captioned that this heat is no joke.

However, the Orange County Sheriffs Department and coroner is still investigating and Sutter has said its unclear if the heat played a factor in Graves death.

Graves had no underlying medical conditions ahead of the race, Sutter told the LA Times.

He had run marathons and half-marathons before, including at Disney World in Orlando in 2023 and earlier this year.

Many of Graves videos saw him touring the park as a long-distance runner and offering tips to fellow racers.

We are deeply saddened by this tragic loss, and our hearts are with Calebs family and loved ones during this difficult time, Disneyland Resort spokesperson Jessica Good said in a statement.

On August 14, Graves posted another video, glistening with sweat and clearly tired after working out to train for the race.

Professionally, the Texas native was a litigation associate at a law firm in nearby Century City.

We were informed earlier today that Caleb Graves passed away. His many friends and colleagues at the firm are grieving the loss of a stellar person and lawyer, partner Wilson Sonsini said in a statement.

Out of respect for his familys privacy, we have no further comment at this time.

Graves also published poetry and directed short films in his spare time.
