The married father-of-one behind Kate and Williams most candid video yet: Advert videographer Will Warr, the royals go-to filmmaker who has worked corporate brands and has his own foodie show, thanks couple for trusting me to produce poignant film

He is William and Kates go-to videographer.

He is William and Kates go-to videographer.

Will Warr, 34, is an expert in making warm, candid and intimate films of the couple and their children - because that is exactly what he does with his own family.

Kate was shot by Will strolling in a forest, walking through fields, releasing a butterfly and playing on the beach with her husband and children as she describes the scary past nine months battling cancer.

But there were also cheeky and funny moments involving George, Charlotte and Louis - similar to postcards Will shares on Instagram of his own young son Fred.

Mr Warr has now worked with the Prince and Princess of Wales on at least six occasions in the last three years, at their home near Windsor Castle and near Anmer Hall in Norfolk as well as on charity visits.

But Will has suggested that the new film of Kate, released last night, was the most moving. Sharing the landmark home movie he thanked Kate for trusting him to tell her story again as she beats cancer.

He said: It is always an honour to produce films for the Prince and Princess of Wales, but this one was particularly poignant. Thank you to the Princess of Wales for trusting me to create this.

But the former Oxfordshire public schoolboy, who lives in London, also has designs to be the star of the show himself as he and his foodie friends are said to be angling for their own Netflix show.

The married father-of-one runs the TOPJAW YouTube channel with former model Jesse Burgess, working with A-listers including Jamie Oliver, Ed Sheeran and Stanley Tucci and also charting their own eating and drinking in London, Paris, New York, Austin and elsewhere.

Will also does corporate work, including Tesco, Puma and Miele through his Detail Films business, which its most recent accounts show has around £400,000 in the bank.

Earlier this year Will headed to Norfolk and created a short movie of his own wife, young son and their friends on holiday, including on dunes that appear to match where he spent time with William, Kate, George, Charlotte and Louis.

The videographer has long been trusted by the royal couple, and has often worked with them on intimate behind-the-scenes projects.

The London-based filmmaker, of Brixton, London, is married to Sarah Warr and is a father-of-one to their toddler Fred, who is turning two later this month.

Recently, he and host Jesse Burgess worked with A-listers including Jamie Oliver, Ed Sheeran and Stanley Tucci.

He also does weddings, and has worked across projects with several brands, such as Red Bull, Candy Kittens, Brooklyn Brewery, Uber Eats, Miele, Bloom & Wild, Diageo, Puma and Holland Cooper.

The videographer has in past said it was wonderful an honour and a privilege to work with the Princess, with whom he has worked on a number of initiatives.

In December, Will was on hand when she was highlighting the important work of volunteers at the UKs Baby Banks.

And the month prior, he had joined the Waleses in Singapore to film content for the Earthshot Prize.

Will has also worked on shooting footage for the Coronation, as well as the Prince and Princess of Waleses ten-year anniversary back in 2022.

His most recent success has come from Topjaw, which he and Jesse only launched last year.

While they have focused on shortform endeavours, Will hopes they will expand the project.

I love long-form, shooting landscape, cinematic and epic, he told the Financial Times. The dream is one day to have our own Netflix show.

The slick advertising filmmaker was also behind the Tesco Food Love Stories ads.

According to his website, after training as a designer he set out on a one-man mission to create beautiful, engaging visual content - and five years on has a portfolio of world-leading clients with whom he creates story-led branded content, corporate films and commercials.

From creative design and artistic direction through to post-production, including animation and sound design, Will and his team build close working relationships with clients from initial concept through to high value finished product.

Will, who now boasts 44,600 followers on Instagram and counting, is followed by Made in Chelseas Jamie Laing - having produced content for his brand Candy Kittens and his wedding - as well as Matt Porteous, the award-winning Royal Family photographer who captured images of the family used for their most recent official Christmas card.

In his latest project for the Waleses, Will captured the pairs three children playing around in nature, laughing up a storm during card games and larking around with a camera - as Kate Middleton, 42, revealed that her chemotherapy treatment has come to an end.

The royal offered an intimate glimpse into her family life as footage showed her and Prince Williams kids spending quality time in Norfolk with their parents in the moving clip, shot last month.

As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment, she said.

Revealed: Kates full statement

As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment. The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family.

Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown. The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you.

With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything. This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted.

Of simply loving and being loved. Doing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes. I am however looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can.

Despite all that has gone before, I enter this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life. William and I are so grateful for the support we have received and have drawn great strength from all those who are helping us at this time.

Everyones kindness, empathy and compassion has been truly humbling. To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey – I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand. Out of darkness, can come light, so let that light shine bright.

Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six, showed their playful natures in the video as they took part in several fun activities with their family.

In one instance, William and Kates eldest son grinned as he carried a cricket bat while hiking through the woods with his parents and siblings.

Footage also showed the three children donning summery ensembles as they joined their family on nature walks, in the video.

In another snap, a laughing Louis is pushed on a swing by his mother, as both bask in the sweet moment.

Experimenting with the camera, another shot also shows George starting in the lens as he asks is this filming? while sat on a picnic blanket with his mother.

Louis then enters the frame to say: Hello! while Charlotte also laughs and joins in.

The energetic trio also climbed around on wooden logs, shared cuddles with their family, and played card games with their grandparents, Michael and Carole Middleton.

The candid video also shows Louis ambitiously climbing up a tree as his mother carefully watches, and William removing a bug from Charlottes hair.

The whole family, in another heartwarming shot, races through the sea on the beach at one point.

The setting of the footage is deeply symbolic, drawing on the strength Kate has drawn from her family and loved ones and from spending time on the things which bring her joy, particularly the sanctuary she has found in the natural world.

It also features her parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, who have been an unwavering source of support.

The princess personal message also featured footage of William and Kate laying entwined on a blanket, hugging their children – and kissing.

The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you, Kate said.

With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything.

This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved.

Referring to her plans for the coming months, Kate continued: Doing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus.

Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes.

I am however looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can.

William and I are so grateful for the support we have received and have drawn great strength from all those who are helping us at this time. Everyones kindness, empathy and compassion has been truly humbling.

And she ends it with a deeply moving and emotional message to fellow cancer patients and their families, saying: To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey – I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand. Out of darkness, can come light, so let that light shine bright.
