A Texas man had a full-blown meltdown on camera after being accused of artificially inseminating French Bulldogs.

Corey Jones, the owner of Texas Canine Boarding & Pet Services in San Antonio, was seen shouting at a local news station after being asked about his alleged involvement in the disgusting and illegal act.

He told KSAT you dont have to be a veterinarian to perform artificial insemination on dogs, and that Everybody in the world does that, leave me alone!

Ive not once said Im a vet, Jones said outside his business, insisting that practically anyone can do that to an animal, not just a licensed professional.

Despite his claim, a spokesperson with the Texas Veterinary Medical Association told the outlet that artificial insemination procedures have to be practiced by veterinary medicine professionals, according to state law.

The law only allows artificial insemination of livestock, but that exception does not apply to dogs, they added.

Jones - who was recently arrested for two unrelated felony assault incidents in the span of seven months - has faced growing scrutiny from the community after it was revealed that the City of Windcrest continued to pay him more than $195,000 to care for the citys stray dogs and cats despite him being charged for the crimes, the outlet  reported.

In the midst of the personal investigation into Jones, Rainbeau Presti, a resident of Windcrest, decided to file an open records request with San Antonio Animal Care Services (ACS) to obtain a copy of the businesss permits and previous inspections.

Despite thinking that the request wouldnt turn up much, Presti was stunned to find out that Jones business was in the middle of an ongoing animal cruelty investigation, she told the outlet.

Presti received a letter from a San Antonio assistant city attorney a month after submitting the request asking the Texas General to allow ACS to withhold those records, but a Texas Penal Code on the letter pertained to a law that covers bestiality - a sexual relationship between a human and an animal.

Further investigation revealed that the business is being looked at for a unique type of animal cruelty case, as investigators are specifically looking into whether artificial insemination was performed on French Bulldogs at the business, according to ACS Director Jonathan Gary.

Gary, who was hired by the city when the investigation was first opened, said the original case into the alleged cruel act was closed but later reopened after new information from a recent inspection came to light.

The status of the case and specific details remain unclear, as Gary declined to comment further.

DailyMail.com contacted Gary, Jones and the City of Windcrest for comment.

Breeding French Bulldogs is not easy to do, as the breed is known for its many health challenges, including bone malformations in their neck and back, NPR reported.

Their short bodies and wide chest make the birthing process difficult, and often sees female French Bulldogs delivering by Cesarean section.

Jones has a littered criminal history.

The Windcrest Police Department were called to a Windcrest home in November 2023 over reports of a 14-year-old boy being assaulted by his mothers boyfriend, Jones, records obtained by KSAT, detailed.

At the time, the teen told police he heard his mother arguing with Jones and he was attacked by him after he stepped in to see why his mom was upset, a report said.

According to the teen, thats when Jones became aggressive, grabbing his shoulders and pushing him to the floor before getting on top of him where he then struck his left jaw with a closed fist and choked him, the arrest warrant stated.

The boy was treated at the scene for his injuries, which included bruises and scratches on his chest, redness on his jaw, and back pain. He was then taken to the hospital.

Meanwhile, Jones was taken into custody and booked into the Comal County Jail on felony injury to child charges.

That’s accused, that’s not true, he told the outlet when asked about the incident.

When asked about the charges, Jones again lashed out at the outlet, saying: What does that have to do with Windcrest? That’s a personal thing that’s taken care of on my own, that has nothing to do with you

In a separate incident in June 2024, authorities were called to Jones home for a violent disturbance call.

When officers arrived, they found his wife on the front porch because she did not want to cause a scene in front of children, the incident report said.

She said Jones, who was intoxicated at the time, accused her of talking to another man online and proceeded to attack her, according to the report.

He allegedly grabbed her by her hair and neck before slamming her onto the ground. He is also accused of biting his wife before she grabbed a bathroom cleaner and sprayed him to get him off of her, per the report.

For this alleged incident, he was arrested on a felony charge of family assault-impeding breath.

When asked about the charges, Jones again lashed out at the outlet, saying: What does that have to do with Windcrest? That’s a personal thing that’s taken care of on my own, that has nothing to do with you.

He has not been charged in connection to the animal cruelty probe, but he was charged for both assault cases.

Jones is now awaiting indictment for the felony assault cases and is currently free on bond, court records show.
