Emma Staneart, a nurse, recorded the terrifying moment while on vacation in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
The video shows a bear and her cubs walking along the front porch, and as the bears got closer, Staneart pulled the camera away and retreated inside the cabin while screaming.
Staneart wrote that they were inside and filming from the bedroom window.
We had just gotten home when we saw her on the road and ran inside as soon as the bear changed direction and came towards the cabin, she told her 350,000 TikTok followers. We did not call them to us or try to feed them.

Staneart and her husband, Nate, were staying at a cabin in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and encountered the bears near the end of their trip
She followed up with the video after receiving comments saying she was too close and using the bears for likes.
Others claimed that she put herself and the bears in danger.
One user commented: stop filming innocent animals if any contact to a human because of this video mamma would be euthanized (killed) because you wanted likes!
Staneart responded: When I took this video, I was terrified because it was a momma with cubs.
In her response, she made it clear that the bear was filmed through a bedroom window looking onto the porch and she was not blocking any exits for the bear to leave.

She also said that she had researched black bears and their defensive nature with cubs and humans, saying that researchers have found black bears are not as protective as other types of bears.
Biologist Dr Lynn Rogers, founder of The Wildlife Research Institute, said their research found black bears were more reluctant to protect their cubs than others species including grizzly bears.
Staneart added: Im not gonna go up to a bear.
Im gonna be the one running and screaming.
