Spotify is legitimising the mistreatment of women by allowing Andrew Tate to share content teaching men how to get a harem, critics warn

Spotify is legitimising the mistreatment of women by broadcasting dangerously misogynistic material by Andrew Tate, critics warned last night.

Tate, 38 – who faces charges in Romania for rape, human trafficking and sexually exploiting women – has previously been banned from social media including Facebook and Instagram for his views.

He has compared women to dogs and said sexual assault victims bear some responsibility.

Concern about his influence grew last week after it emerged that Kyle Clifford, who has been jailed for life for raping and killing his ex-girlfriend and killing her sister and mother, watched one of Tates videos beforehand.

But it has now emerged that Spotify – the worlds leading streaming service for audio content – is still featuring his podcasts, which include courses on dating women.

One, Pimpin Hoes, which is said to teach men to profit from exploiting women, was removed from the site after a backlash from campaigners and Spotifys own staff.

However, The Mail on Sunday has found that several others which encourage men to control and mistreat women are still available.

In one entitled How to be a G, Tate tells men they can acquire a harem of females, claiming: Women are biologically programmed to share their man.

Its absolutely normal for men to have more than one woman. You have no reason to apologise for your biology as a man.

A second called How to get girls fast and easy by Andrew Tate (PHD Course) refers to women as bitches and tells men how target them on social media for casual sex.

The former kickboxer, who has British and US citizenship, insists that women want to be ordered around, adding: Women like to be led, they dont like to be asked... they want to be told what to do.

A woman who is understanding, kind and respects you does not exist – unless you force her. A woman must learn her man is an iron mountain and the easiest path is to obey.

Last night, womens rights groups criticised Spotify and demanded that it remove all of Tates podcasts.

Cathy Larkman, from the Womens Rights Network, said: Spotify is helping to legitimise and validate these views and is allowing these men to profit. Its terrifying to think what impact this could have.

Kruti Walsh, of the charity Filia, said: It is disgusting that Spotify, and others, profit from this misogyny.

Spotify declined to comment.
