SNL alum returns as Jeanine Pirro to brutally mock booze hounds in Trump admin

Saturday Night Live alumna Cecily Strong returned to 30 Rock on Saturday to portray Fox News host Jeanine Pirro.

President Donald Trump announced this week that he was appointing the 73-year-old former judge the next United States Attorney for the District of Columbia - replacing Trumps interim appointment Ed Martin.

The NBC skit show took no time to mock the new appointment, with Strong starring in the cold open as a Merlot-loving version of the judge.

I am so proud to be part of this group full of Russian assets, booze hounds and people famous for the little baby animals theyve killed, she said, thanking the president - played by James Austin Johnson - for adding her to the administration.
