Disgraced news presenter Huw Edwards could rake in up to £2million if his mortgage-free house is sold as part of his expected divorce, according to reports.
The shamed star was this week given six months suspended prison sentence after he pleaded guilty to having made seven Category A indecent images of children, as well as 12 Category B, and 22 Category C images.
Westminster Magistrates Court heard details of Edwardss sickening interactions with convicted paedophile Alex Williams who, between the years 2018 and 2021, sent the father-of-five indecent images of children.
Of the images he received, the estimated age of most of the children was between 13 and 15, but one was aged between seven and nine.
But now the convicted paedophile could be about to receive a windfall of millions if the home he bought with his wife Vicky Flind in the leafy London suburb of Dulwich is sold.

The pair bought the house for £1.85million in 2006 but in recent years, similar homes in the immediate area have sold for between £4-6million - with Edwards tipped to get half.
The news that he and his wife split came in late July, with Edwards reportedly dividing his time between a flat in Wandsworth, south-west London, and his native Wales.
He got engaged to Vicky in 1993, and the couple share three sons and two daughters.
Freelance divorce lawyer Martin Perfect told the Mirror: Its likely to be a balanced and equal split. He will do well from any divorce. I would imagine it would be a 50/50 split.
It has been a long marriage. There are of course grounds for unreasonable behaviour based on what he has admitted and his general conduct.
The lawyer added that everyone thinks career is finished and he will not be able to earn the money he once did.

Edwards was the BBCs highest paid journalist and top news presenter until he quit in April, receiving a yearly salary of up to, according to the broadcasters annual report.
The lawyer said this could be an argument for an equal split and an argument against the idea that she should get more.
In April, Edwards resigned from the BBC on medical grounds and left without a payout. He then moved in with his mother in Wales.
The veteran broadcasters new spacious flat is in a quiet neighbourhood, boasting a large bay fronted living room with a fireplace, wood flooring throughout, two bedrooms and one bathroom.
One neighbour said: The properties here are quite charming with good light and high ceilings. Its a really nice corner of London - and very quiet.
He has kept a very low profile and I dont think most people in the vicinity are even aware he is here.

Edwardss landlords, who bought the property almost 30 years ago, are based in Australia so the news of his guilty plea could mean they will soon be in the market for a new tenant, if the shamed star is jailed.
Its unclear how much hes paying or how long his lease is for but similar properties nearby go for as much as £3,000 a month.
Meanwhile sources said Edwards is being treated at the £5,000-a-week Nightingale Hospital, a mental health facility in central London.
As well as his suspended prison sentence, the judge also ordered him to complete a sex offender treatment programme and 25 rehabilitation sessions.
The sessions will involve confessing his depraved crimes and how they affected both him and his victims in front of a group of fellow paedophiles.
In court Edwardss lawyer said he was truly sorry for how he had damaged his family and his loved ones, and for committing the offences.
