Rudy Giulianis daughter Caroline announced her support for Kamala Harris in a scathing essay in which she blames Donald Trump for taking away her father.
Caroline, a 35-year-old filmmaker, wrote in an essay for Vanity Fair: Ive been grieving the loss of my dad to Trump. I cannot bear to lose our country to him too.
She talks about how she cried when the former New York City mayor first told her he was going to be Trumps lawyer, which happened in 2018.
Watching my dads life crumble since he joined forces with Trump has been extraordinarily painful, she notes.
Trump being the president was the worst thing that ever happened to my dad, to my family, and to our nations modern history.

Carolines mother is Donna Hanover, Giulianis second wife. She was four when her father was elected mayor of New York and the family moved into Gracie Mansion.
She was pictured at her fathers 1994 inauguration, wearing a pink coat, and cupping her dads face.
After her parents divorced in 2000, she and her mother lived in Gracie Mansion until Giulianis term expired. They then moved to East Manhattan.
Her brother Andrew also worked for Donald Trump.
Rudy Giuliani has had a long fall from grace from when he was known as Americas Mayor in the aftermath of September 11th terrorist attacks, where he led New York City in its response and helped the city recovery economically and emotionally.
He lost his legal license in Washington D.C. and in New York City, where he made his name as a prosecutor in U.S. Southern District Court.
He led the false claims that Trump had the 2020 election stolen from him. He is under indictment in Arizona for attempting to overturn the election results there. And he also owes $148 million to two Georgia election workers whom, a court ruled, Giuliani had defamed by claiming they had helped steal the election from Trump.
In many ways, hes become a national joke - and a national tragedy.
But Caroline notes, despite the fact the two have been estranged since he divorced her mother, she still loves him.
My dad and I have a cartoonishly complicated relationship. But he is still my father, and despite his faults, I love him, she writes.
Ive seen him experience surreal heights, and, now, unfathomable lows. The last thing I want to do is hurt him, especially when hes already down. Plus we never know how much time we have left with our parents. The totality of that makes this the most difficult piece Ive ever written. Yet this moment and this election are so much bigger than any of us.

Caroline Giuliani, who supported Joe Biden in 2020 and Hillary Clinton in 2016, details in her essay her concerns of how Trump would act if he becomes president with full immunity from any actions taken while hes in the White House and what his presidency would mean for abortion rights.
And she praises Harris: She has the experience, intelligence, and fortitude to lead us to a brighter future, and seeing her hold Trump accountable in the debate only further confirms her ability to defend us from our most dangerous enemies, domestic and foreign.
Take it from me, Trump destroys everything he touches. I saw it happen to my family. Dont let it happen to yours, or to our country.
