Police hunt for The Joker: Cops issue CCTV of man dressed as Batman villain in public appeal

Police are hunting a man spotted on CCTV - dressed like Batmans nemesis, the Joker.

Images released by Wiltshire Police show a wanted man who appears to be disguised as the famed DC comic villain.

CCTV images show the male with green hair, a white painted face with black circles around the eyes, and wearing a blue suit.

Although limited information has been given about the crime in which these CCTV images connect to - officers are keen to identify and speak with the man.

Pictured is late actor Heath Ledger who won a posthumous academy award for his portrayal of the Joker in 2008s The Dark Knight 

He is believed to be connected to the Melksham and Trowbridge area.

We cant be sure but we dont think he walks around like this all the time, said a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police.
