White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has a cameo in the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Potomac. 

On Thursday a trailer for the new season was released by Bravo.

Jean-Pierre is seen welcoming cast member Wendy Osefo to the White House as they sit down for an interview for Osefos YouTube series The Dr. Wendy Show. 

This interview was filmed in the EEOB. The focus of the conversation was how the Biden-Harris administration is delivering historic results for Black communities, and the goal was to reach key and diverse audiences, a White House official told DailyMail.com. 

A trip to the White House famously derailed a previous Real Housewives franchise.

In November 2009, Real Housewives of D.C. cast member Michaele Salahi and her husband Tareq crashed the cocktail hour of President Barack Obamas first state dinner - as he hosted Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

A Washington Post reporter noticed that the budding reality stars name wasnt on the official White House guest list. 

What followed became a huge D.C. scandal - with the House Homeland Security Committee hauling the couple in front of it and a grand jury assembled to investigate. 

Real Housewives of D.C. was canceled after one season.

I mean, I loved "Real Housewives of D.C." I wanted to bring it back for a second season, Bravos Andy Cohen said in 2015, ahead of the launch of Real Housewives of Potomac. 

Potomac, Maryland is a tony D.C. suburb. 

But that show really got torpedoed by the "Salamis," Cohen continued. I feel like, with the White House crash. There was such a stink on it from those two. 

This time around, the Housewives cast member was an invited guest to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Since becoming White House press secretary in May 2022, Jean-Pierre has embraced the Democratic Partys good relationship with the entertainment industry. 

Shes hosted a number of celebrities to the briefing room and done the rounds on shows like The View. 

The press secretary appeared with some of the drag queens from RuPauls Drag Race at the Little Gay Pub, an LGBTQ bar not far from the White House, in May. 

She appeared in a Vogue fashion spread last September and it was People magazine that first revealed her Housewives cameo.
