Melbourne police launch manhunt for registered sex offender Dylan Jones

A desperate manhunt is underway for a registered sex offender who vanished following his release from jail.

Dylan Jones, 25, has not been seen since his recent release and hasnt reported to Victoria Police, which is part of his strict parole conditions.

He was registered as a sex offender after he was found guilty of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in 2020.

It’s also alleged he has been implicated in a number of other serious crimes.

Jones is described as 180cm tall, solid build, black hair, brown eyes and tanned skin.

He is known to frequent the Melbourne suburbs of Heidelberg and Bundoora as well as the Geelong region.

Anyone who spot him is urged to call triple-0 immediately and to not approach him.
