A knife was brought into a Scots primary school just weeks after a child took a blade to another nearby.

Police were told of a the knife being brought to a school in Moray on Wednesday.
Officers said ‘advice’ had been given and they were ‘working with partners in relation to the matter’. The school, however, was not identified.
It comes just weeks after a boy turned up to a village school with a knife.
Earlier this year one mother told how she felt it was no longer safe to send her young son to school after an 11-year-old boy was caught with the weapon.
The worried parent said the boy had been ‘showing the knife to friends throughout the day’ before it was eventually confiscated by teachers and the police were called.
A letter from the school to parents confirmed that there had been an ‘incident’ that involved ‘one of our pupils who had a knife in his possession’.
It added: ‘There was no intent to use it. When it was reported to staff, this matter was dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner.’

But the concerned parent said: ‘It’s not safe for my son to go back to school. This is affecting his education.’
Between April and September last year 123 youngsters under 18 were found in possession with a weapon in Scotland.
They included a ten-year-old caught with a blade in Edinburgh, and a 14-year-old caught with a firearm in Fife.
Yesterday a Police Scotland spokesman said: ‘Around 10.30am on Wednesday, April 16, we received a report of a knife being brought to a school in the Keith area.
‘Suitable advice was given and police are working with partners in relation to the matter.’
Moray Council has been approached for comment.
