A Harley Street cosmetic surgeon, who gave Katie Price her first two boob jobs, has been given a written warning after he put his hand over a patients mouth to stop her speaking during a consultation.
Dr Jeya Prakash, 74, held his hand across the womans lips claiming he wanted her to calm down after she began complaining that her breast augmentation procedure was taking too long to heal.
During the encounter the patient claimed the father-of-two held her lips together like a vice and said she was reduced to tears as a result.
She then fled his practice The Professional Cosmetic Surgery in Harley Street, in London, and told her husband who was waiting in a car outside.
Prakash admitted placing his hand over the womans mouth but was cleared of holding her lips together at a Medical Practitioners Tribunal hearing.

The woman, referred to as Patient A, initially went back for further consultations with Prakash like an idiot but she decided to walk away which took a lot of guts and nerve.
She went to her GPs surgery and saw a nurse who was said to be horrified by the state of the wound and advised not to go back to Prakash.
On the advice of the nurse Patient A made a complaint to the General Medical Council in November 2021.
In a statement the woman said: As soon as the doctor did this, I burst into tears and couldnt speak.
It happened quite quickly and he released me within a few seconds but that was enough. I got up as soon as I could and said very firmly, "How dare for you to touch me like that?" I was humiliated.
At the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service, Prakash who once claimed his surgery had uncovered the secret of eternal youth was found guilty of a charge of physically controlling behaviour towards Patient A.
The Manchester hearing was told Patient A underwent a bilateral breast reduction under Prakash in September 2020 at the London Welbeck Hospital.
The surgery went well but there were complications during the womans recovery, with delayed wound healing and she saw Prakash for 30 follow up appointments between 20 October 2020 and 13 October 2021.
In her evidence Patient A said: I was lying on the examination bed with my breasts exposed and doctor was standing on the right side of the bed.
He asked me how the wound was and I said that I was fed up with travelling to see him and all the breast discomfort and the ugly hole in my new breast.
Before I could even draw breath to finish my sentence, he grabbed my lips with his right hand and twisted them really hard together like they were in a vice. He did this with force and to shut me up. It really hurt.

I got dressed and the doctor apologised profusely just saying he was sorry but I didnt want to listen and fled the room half-dressed and in tears.
I went to the toilet and got myself together and then left the clinic. My husband was waiting in the car for me and saw how upset I was. He was furious and told me never to return.
Prakash, who lives in Ascot, Berkshire, questioned whether Patient A was as hurt, humiliated and afraid of him as she said she was, because she attended further consultations after the incident.
He said he believed that the reason why Patient A reported him to the GMC was because she did not want to pay for the tests and not because he had done anything untoward.
Prakash claimed he had been generous with his time and had spent his own finances on consumables and medical equipment.
He stated that he had trusted Patient A and felt betrayed that she had turned against him.
The surgeon added: The patient was very stressed about the healing. While I was trying to calm her down, I put my hand onto her mouth and was explaining to her about the nature of the healing.
She was upset that I used my hand to settle her down. I apologised a few times. She accepted the apology and had the dressing for two tiny spots and left quietly.
My pure intention was to calm her down, not to be aggressive or disrespectful. If this were my nature, I would not have apologised immediately after seeing her response.
The patient accepted my apology, dressed, drank some water, and made another appointment. I deeply regret that my actions were misinterpreted.
The tribunal was shown a text exchange in which Patient A told Prakashs PA: Hi I feel very upset the way he manhandled me! How much does he want me to pay for the PRP injection?
I feel it should be free after a year of my post op trauma. Dont tell him I said this but my husband doesnt want me to go back to him.
Prakashs PA said: I remember Patient A saying was not healing fast enough and was expressing her frustration to me about this. Her demeanour was agitated.
‘The doctor kept telling Patient A to calm down, but she continued to express her frustrations. Whilst he was examining Patient As breast wound he was repeatedly saying to her that it will take time and that it had already improved a lot.
I briefly saw that he put one hand over Patient As mouth telling her to calm down. Patient A was annoyed. Everything happened so fast and his hand was only there for a split second.

The former glamour model jetted off to Turkey for her sixth facelift after being turned down in 2022 by her former surgeon Dr Jeya Prakash amid fears she was addicted to cosmetic surgery (right, in 1995)
I remember the doctor repeatedly saying, “I am sorry. I am sorry” a few times to Patient A before she left the consultation.
I believe we treated Patient A with utter respect, kindness, and care. The doctor cares about Patient A and showed this throughout her long journey with us.
For the GMC counsel Ms Amy Rollings said: This was unwanted touching, it was inappropriate and had the effect of preventing her from speaking.
His misconduct demonstrated a propensity to act in such a way that placed future patients at an unwarranted risk of harm.
MPTS chairman Mrs Remi Alabi said Prakashs fitness to practise medicine was not impaired.
She said: Dr Jeyapragash was not being malicious and while his intention may have been to stop Patient A from speaking for a moment in attempting to calm her down, whilst this was ill judged, there was nothing malicious in his actions.
The tribunal considered there to have been an immediate recognition by Dr Jeyapragash at the time that he had upset Patient A and apologised to her. The Tribunal determined that the risk of repetition was therefore very low..
But she added: Whilst there was no twisting or holding together of the lips but his physical act of putting his hand on Patient As mouth had the practical effect of controlling her ability to speak. His action amounted to a single episode of physically controlling behaviour.
Prakash has known glamour model Price since 1996 when he performed her first and second breast augmentations, before she returned for even bigger breasts.
He said he turned down her request for a facelift amid fears she was addicted to cosmetic surgery.
Recalling her visiting his office in 2022 he told The Mirror: I said she doesnt need a facelift. Then she went to other places where people didnt look after her health, they looked after her image. Health is very important.
I said no, because she seemed to have an addiction to surgery with what she wanted to do.
Shes a small, petite lady. I always tell her that a squirrel shouldnt have elephant breasts.
But Price jetted off to Turkey in July for her sixth facelift and there are reportedly fears the £10,000 procedure could leave her with serious side effects including the appearance of a stroke.
