JD Vances Spotify playlists for running and making dinner take the internet by surprise

Republican Vice Presidential candidate JD Vance has shocked the internet with his musical taste on his unearthed Spotify playlists. 

The Ohio senator got higher marks for his debate performance against Tim Walz, but viewers polled by DailyMail.com said they would rather have a beer with Minnesota Governor.

However, Americans saw a different side to Vance when his Spotify playlist made its rounds on social media.

An unverified account with the username JD Vance has a profile picture of the candidate and his father at a Trump rally in 2021 and follows a lawyer who graduated from Yale Law School the same year he did, reported the Daily Dot.

The account has seven public playlists - five of which were constructed under Vances name - and the song choices have sent the internet into a frenzy, with some critics calling the choices generic and others praising the VP hopeful for having decent taste.

A playlist titled Running #1 has songs from The Strokes, The Killers, Zac Brown Band, Nirvana, Ween and more. It appears to have been created in 2013 with the latest songs added on February 28, 2023.

On playlist called Making Dinner has The First Noel by Nat King Cole - the 1999 remastered edition - as well as I Want It That Way by the Backstreet Boys, Dog Days Are Over by Florence + The Machine and One Time by Justin Bieber.

Another set titled Morning Has Broken has songs by Fleetwood Mac, Tracy Chapman, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Simon & Garfunkel, Lady A, Carrie Underwood and Kacey Musgraves.

His music taste surprised people with some feeling shocked by his choices and others even identifying with him in his song selections.

Pretty generic taste for a 39-yr-old white guy, but I wasnt expecting to see Ween on there.
