Donald Trump, meanwhile, took to Truth Social on Monday to claim Middle Eastern allies would end Hamas fast, furious and brutal if the group breaks the deal.
There is still hope that Hamas will do what is right Trump wrote. If they do not, an end to Hamas will be FAST, FURIOUS & BRUTAL! I would like to thank all of those countries that called to help.
Later, speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump said Hamas was going to be very good and would behave.
If theyre not, were going to go and were going to eradicate them, if we have to, he added. They’ll be eradicated, and they know that.
Vance, joined by advisors Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, is also working to ensure the ceasefire doesn’t collapse during the second phase of the president’s 20-point Gaza peace plan.

Donald Trump promised to unleash death upon Hamas if the militants do not uphold their peace agreement with Israel.
'Numerous of our NOW GREAT ALLIES in the Middle East, and areas surrounding the Middle East, have explicitly and strongly, with great enthusiasm, informed me that they would welcome the opportunity, at my request, to go into GAZA with a heavy force and “straighten out Hamas” [sic] if Hamas continues to act badly, in violation of their agreement with us,' Trump wrote on Truth Social.
The president's comments come as Vice President JD arrived in Israel for urgent talks with Benjamin Netanyahu as the Gaza peace deal hangs by a thread.
