Julio Solano walked up to his vehicle that was parked in a garage on Washington Avenue and 16th Street in Miami Beach Monday morning when he spotted an intruder in the drivers seat.
When he approached the man, identified as Ravesh Rabindranauth, 33, he asked Solano for help after getting trapped inside the car.
My brother, this is not your car, this is my car, Solano told the suspect before calling the police.
Miami Beach Police soon arrived at the bizarre scene and arrested Rabindranauth who is now facing one count of burglary of an unoccupied conveyance.

The shocking moment unfolded when Solano made his way back to his car that morning.
After explaining to the would-be thief that he was inside his car, Solano questioned him as to why he entered his vehicle.
Rabindranauth was seen replying to the owner as Solano cut him off and asked: But why are you in my car?
The suspect, who spoke to Solano through the windshield, then asked if he could help him get out of the car.
No you cant get out because we calling the cops, Solano told him.
Officers soon got to the scene and made Rabindranauth exit the vehicle, as he was seen crawling on the ground while police stood over him.
The cops then placed handcuffs on his wrist and picked him up off the ground.
Solano told Local 10 that he noticed the intruder pop out from underneath the seat when he walked up to his car. And he shocked me, he recalled.

He believes that although Rabindranauth managed to break into his Corvette, he was not able to start it because he didnt have the keys.
He was able to break in the car, but that particular Corvette, if youre in the car and you dont have the keys, none of the electrical components will function, the car owner explained.
Solano added that there is a manual door handle underneath the seat in the car that would have helped Rabindranauth break free.
Thank God he didnt know - just be alert, you know when youre getting in and out of your car, be vigilant, be alert of your surroundings, he added.
He went on to notify the owner of Premiere Auto Miami 1, an exotic car rental company, of the incident because they store similar vehicles in that same garage, according to investigators.
During his arrest Rabindranauth agreed to speak with officers. He has no criminal history or outstanding warrants.
He is being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $2,500 bond, according to arrest records.

The cars owner, Dennis Harrington, had only just got the car out of the shop after having had some bodywork done on it and putting it through its paces on a racetrack.
Harrington was at work when a co-worker told him he had seen a car just like his.
Somebody came up to me to say, "Oh a car like yours has just drove by." I said, "That is my car!" There’s no other car like this in America. This thing is one of a kind, Harrington told Boston 25.
The muscle car was stolen from downtown Boston and driven six miles south to the suburb of Dorchester where the thief tore a path of destruction as it collided with parked vehicles around 2.30pm.
