A hockey mom is expected to face charges after she assaulted two referees at her sons high school game, according to police.
Surveillance cameras captured the moment the mother, who has not been named, stepped onto the ice as the January 4 game ended in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
Two referees are then seen skating towards her following the varsity game between Mansfield High School and Taunton High School, , as reported by NBC10 Boston.
Police say shortly after, the mom started physically assaulting them.
The Taunton mother reportedly waited over five minutes for the officials to move towards the locker room during the attack.
Nobody was injured in this situation, thankfully, said National Ice Hockey Officials Association spokesperson Mike Ober.
It could have turned out much differently.
Foxborough police said the mother will be summonsed to face several criminal charges.

One of the referees, who does not want to be identified, said he and his colleague are okay but parents need to do better.
The incidents of this are occurring more and more, Ober added.
Not too long ago, I saw a video of a coach absolutely berating a 16-year-old referee, a brand new referee, and were not getting these kids back when these incidents happen.
Hockey parents told the local outlet that angry parents have become an increasing problem in youth sports.
I even saw a grandmother last night that was getting out of control, and I thought she was perhaps going to have to be thrown out, local Lynn Wrzosek told NBC 10.
You have to realize that in the long run, most of us arent going to have kids that are playing in the NHL, added Mike McKay.
For most kids, the ceiling is probably going to be a high school hockey player, so my advice is to just enjoy the ride … Its not life and death.
