Alice Bhandhukravi can be seen rushing to her seat as the BBC news jingle plays, desperately trying to stay calm and composed.
As she settles into her seat, she then lets out a wide smile to acknowledge her funny mistake.
Despite having to run to her seat, the newsreader continued to read the headlines with precision and accuracy for the BBC London broadcast.
Taking to social media, the presenter joked: I have apparently qualified for the 10m dash (across the studio) in the 2028 Games, before adding: Wait til you see me moonwalk.
