Fury erupts as Howard Stern repeatedly says the N-word while wearing blackface in shocking resurfaced video ahead of Kamala Harris interview

A resurfaced video of Howard Stern wearing blackface and using the N-word during a skit has sparked fury ahead of his sit down with Kamala Harris.

A resurfaced video of Howard Stern wearing blackface and using the N-word during a skit has sparked fury ahead of his sit down with Kamala Harris.

The 1993 sketch features Stern, 70, sporting black face paint and white lips while repeatedly using the racial slur.

The bit was performed as a parody of Ted Dansons infamous blackface performance alongside then-girlfriend Whoopi Goldberg which came out in the same year.

Stern has previously apologized over the clip, but it has reappeared on social media as he is preparing to sit down with the Vice President today, prompting viewers to brand him disgusting.

Stern plays Danson in blackface, as his sidekick Robin Quivers asks him questions. The answers are punchlines that involve the use of the N-word.

When the audience reacts with shock to his use of the word, Stern defends himself saying Whoopi wrote that.

Disgusting, one angry viewer wrote on X. I have seen this over the years. Isn’t it something that because Stern is a leftist that he gets a pass?

This right here should have been the end of. Howard Stern he’s undeniably too comfortable in this gross vile skit, if anyone belongs cancelled it’s Stern, he is a pig, another added.

How do they get away with that, unbelievable, and that isn’t even funny, not one little bit. It’s actually pretty despicable and disgusting, a third person said.

Why would Kamala Harris go on the Howard Stern show? If she does go on the show with Howard Stern, that’ll tell America everything you need to know about Kamala Harris, one person wrote.

Sterns interview with Harris forms part of a media blitz by the Vice President, which will also see her appear on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and The View.

Previously, Harris has sat down for interviews in battleground states, including radio and podcasts.

But with Stern her audience is likely to be much larger, given his two million YouTube subscribers.

Many of the interviews are considered friendly territory for the candidate. Donald Trump employs a similar strategy, often appearing on Fox News.

The interview will air on Howard’s SiriusXM channel Howard 100 and be replayed throughout the week.

Harris will then head out west ahead of early voting with stops in Nevada and Arizona.

Stern was previously forced to address the controversy around the clip after it was retweeted by Donald Trump Jr. in 2020.

The sh** I did was f***ing crazy, he said, as reported by Deadline. I’ll be the first to admit. I wont go back and watch those old shows; its like, who is that guy.

But that was my shtick, thats what I did and I own it. I dont think I got embraced by Nazi groups and hate groups. They seemed to think I was against them too. Everybody had a bone to pick with me.

The big headline is this, and this is my fear in all of this, Stern continued. I was able to change my approach, able to change my life and change how I communicated. If I had to do it all over again, would I lampoon Ted Danson, a white guy in blackface?

Yeah, I was lampooning him and saying, I’m going to shine a light on this. But would I go about it the same way now? Probably not. Not probably, I wouldn’t.

Trump Jr. retweeted the clip with the caption: Yikes! NSFW: Howard Stern says N-word too many times during awful blackface impression that should have Libs yelling “CANCEL!”

But Stern hit back and said it was crazy for Trump Jr. to be focused on the video at a time when coronavirus and Black Lives Matter protests were raging.

Am I a bad guy? I don’t think so, Stern said. Donald Trump didn’t think so, he was on my show 27 times. Donnie Junior did the show. On TV he said, "I’m really disappointed in Howard, hes changed," that Ive gone Hollywood.

Which is it? Do you want me to get in blackface and make fun of Ted Danson? I have changed... I remember how badly Donald Jr. wanted to take a picture with me. Dude, if youre the president of the United States and you want to worry about me, go ahead.
