A food delivery rider has been caught on camera apparently urinating inside a Sydney apartment blocks lift while dropping off a customers Bettys Burgers order.

The incident, which occurred on March 10 at Artarmons Northview building, on the the lower north shore, has been reported to NSW Police by residents.

Theres just no mistaking it, 2GB host Ben Fordham said on Monday morning as he described the footage to listeners.

All of the elevator floor is dry, then he starts fiddling with the front of his pants, and then hes pressing the buttons in the lift, Fordham explained.

He seems to be obsessed with this corner of the lift - we know why, because hes taking a pee.

Hes standing there for I dont know, 10 to 15 seconds as the elevator is going up, then he does something to adjust the front of his pants and he steps outside, leaving behind the wet patch.

Fordham said he was holding food in his right hand and his willy in his left hand.

Filthy little grub, he added.

Geoffrey Grasso, a resident and the buildings secretary, said he was revolted by the delivery riders actions.

The elevator still reeks of urine, with the building considering replacing the carpet, estimated to cost at least $2,000

It raises a whole bunch of questions about their food handling training of their drivers at the very, very least, he told Fordham.

But the one thing that literally disgusts me is the fact that he is holding those peoples food while he is urinating and then delivers it to them.

Mr Grasso said that the elevator still reeks as a result of the incident and that the building is considering taking action against the delivery company.

We may well need to change the carpet - its going to mount up, he added. The building manager estimates no less than $2,000 just for that.

Its just a disgusting thing to do, it breaches any form of normal etiquette and health standards.

Im sure if he was that desperate and said to the resident in question, "May I use your toilet?" Im sure they would have said yes.
