Fat Shack founder Tom Armenti began operating his own late-night restaurant in 2010 inside a bagel shop 6:00 pm to 4:00 am.

The business began to grow after over a year, leading Armenti to build the first Fat Shack restaurant in Fort Collins in August 2011.

Business boomed in the Colorado city and Armenti packed his bags and moved to the Centennial State.

There are currently 29 Fat Shack restaurants nationwide, with 10 of them located in Colorado.
