Kobi Jane Langshaw, 38, relentlessly pursued two male lawyers in a deliberate, unrelenting and carefully calculated eight-year campaign, a Perth court heard.
Her obsession with Patrick Gardner, who she was infatuated with, and his best friend Aaron Herbert, who she detested, led to comparisons with the Netflix hit show Baby Reindeer in which a woman stalks a barman who showed her some kindness.
The mum-of two was last week jailed for five years on three counts of stalking and 21 counts of breaching a violence restraining order for offences committed in 2020.
But prior to her reign of terror, Langshaw lived a seemingly idyllic suburban lifestyle in Perth with her husband Jamie and their two daughters.
Social media posts show the once-happy couple enjoying time with their children, days out at Margaret River wineries and a romantic gesture where Langshaw baked her husband Jamie 50 cupcakes for Valentines day.
By all accounts, Jamie Langshaw was deeply in love with his funny and highly educated wife, who was well-connected with a work history at some of Perths most respected law firms.
And his wife relished her role as a devoted mother and partner, playing April Fools Day jokes on her unsuspecting husband, sending him to work one year wearing shorts as a prank she had arranged with his boss.

However, Magistrate Belinda Coleman painted a starkly different picture of Langshaw when she sentenced her in court last Thursday.
She is a highly intelligent woman and she is skilled at lying to take advantage of others. It is clear that she uses charm to manipulate others for personal gain, Ms Coleman told Perth Magistrates Court.
She holds a sense of superiority and is very opinionated. When challenged, she becomes hostile but can instantly switch back to being sweet and unassuming.
It is clear that she was and still is completely infatuated with Mr Gardner… on the first occasion he gave evidence, she stopped taking notes and stared at him the entire time. He did her best to avoid her unrelenting gaze.
She even took her hair out of her ponytail and fluffed it around her shoulders in an attempt to draw his attention - it was very unnerving.
It is unclear when Langshaws picture-perfect relationship with her husband soured, however by the time Jamie posted their last smiling photo together on Facebook in 2018, she had already launched her campaign of terror.

The court case revealed the extraordinary lengths Langshaw went to in her harassment of Mr Gardner and Mr Herbert.
Having met Mr Gardner, a family lawyer, by chance to discuss her marriage breakdown, Langshaw was immediately infatuated with him.
In 2016, Mr Gardner had taken out a violence restraining order against Langshaw, but her disturbing behaviour continued despite the court order specifically warning her to stay away.
For eight years she carried out her terrifying stalking campaign which saw her lease an apartment near his work and another one near his home.
Langshaw walked past his house in Caversham every morning and on one occasion she was caught on camera taking her children to play outside the home with skipping ropes.
The court heard she was also barred from attending the Family Court building in Perth because of other alarming outbursts.
Despite the restraining order and constant reports to police, Langshaws obsession with Mr Gardner escalated while his best friend Mr Herbert, who also worked in the Family Court, was also targeted.

The extent of her crimes led to Ms Coleman concluding that Langshaw was a high risk of reoffending and that she was very dangerous.
Having had the opportunity to closely observe you over a 15-day trial and subsequent court appearances… I believe I have gained valuable insight, the magistrate told Langshaw.
In my view, you jump at the opportunity to provide explanations and excuses for your offending and relish being centre of attention.
In their victim impact statements, both Mr Gardner and Mr Herbert said they felt utterly helpless and that they had not been believed.
They said they felt police did not take their complaints seriously at first and spent countless hours trying to prove the offences committed against them.
Langshaw was also convicted in Kalgoorlie on one count of stalking with intent to intimidate over a matter involving a different man.
That conviction related to her communications with a woman, in which she described fantasies of a relationship with the woman and her husband.
The court had previously heard that a guard in prison took out a restraining order against her while she was serving her sentence.
