EXCLUSIVE

Fallen Channel Seven star Andrew OKeefe has been arrested again, this time for allegedly breaching his bail after presenting himself to a Sydney police station.

OKeefe was seen driving erratically from his home at Vaucluse to Rose Bay police station in the citys east on Monday afternoon, two days after he survived a suspected drug overdose.

The 52-year-old went inside the building on New South Head Road about 2pm and upon leaving got into his car and became involved in an argument with photographers.

He began to drive off, then parked again and returned to re-enter the police station.

OKeefe was then seen walking out the rear exit of the station accompanied by three officers wearing latex gloves who took him away in the back of a police car.

He was no longer wearing his glasses or belt and his shoes were being carried by one of the officers.

A NSW Police spokesman confirmed OKeefe had been taken into custody.

About 2.25pm today a 52-year-old man was arrested at Rose Bay Police Station in relation to an alleged breach of bail incident, he told Daily Mail Australia.

The man has been taken to Waverley police station where he is assisting police with inquiries.

OKeefe had been partying at a home in Vaucluse about 3.40am on Saturday when emergency services were called.

Paramedics successfully revived the former Deal or No Deal host, before he was transferred to nearby St Vincents Hospital for treatment.

NSW Police said: Officers attached to Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command were called to a home unit on Old South Head Road at Vaucluse about 3.40am, responding to concerns for the welfare of a 52-year-old man.

NSW Ambulance paramedics rendered assistance to the man before taking him to St Vincents Hospital where he was reported to be in a stable condition.

Inquiries into the incident are continuing.

OKeefe had last been seen in public on Wednesday when he was spotted picking up Elisha Dalah, a 35-year-old member of a high society family who was caught stealing from a Westfield shopping centre in 2022.

The sighting of OKeefe - who had a cigarette hanging from his mouth -  came after a court upheld his convictions for domestic violence offences last Monday.

District Court Judge John Pickering rejected OKeefes claim his victim had inflicted scratch marks on her own arm and later blamed him for her injuries.

Judge Pickering overturned other convictions for drug possession after finding it could not be proven items found in OKeefes apartment belonged to the TV presenter.

OKeefe was convicted in January of three counts of domestic violence-related assault, of twice contravening an AVO, and two charges of possessing a prohibited drug.

He was ordered to serve an 18-month community corrections order, which involved supervision and reporting requirements, and fined $800 for the drug offences.

The offences were alleged to have been committed in September 2021.

OKeefe had pushed a woman into a doorway, punched her with the heel of the hand and forced her to the ground, before kicking her in the thigh and using his nails to scratch her chest.

But OKeefes barrister Phillip Boulten SC said the womans claim she scratched her hand on a hinge after being pushed through the doorway was not supported by physical evidence.

Mr Boulten said if the woman was found not to have been truthful about the scratch marks on her arm, the entirety of her evidence should not be accepted.

Judge Pickering told the court he did not see any reason for the woman to lie about the assault, and noted at the time she had indicated she did not want to make a complaint to police.

It was clear in her communication with the police that she did not actually want the police to get involved in this, he said.

I do not see what benefit there was to the complainant. I am satisfied the complainant was a truthful witness about this incident.

As the judgement was read in court, OKeefe shook his head in frustrated disagreement and passed written notes to his lawyer.

OKeefe has admitted the argument occurred, but maintains he accidentally fell into the woman due to their proximity rather than pushing her.

The woman alleged that after she fell, OKeefe had said to her: Nice acting, I barely touched you.

Judge Pickering found it was open to the court in initially convicting OKeefe to use an earlier incident in January 2021, in which OKeefe admitted spitting in the same womans eye, to help establish who was telling the truth.

The majority of males in our community do not act in this fashion, he said.

OKeefe  previously hosted Weekend Sunrise and game shows including The Chase until his contract with the Seven Network expired at the end of 2020.

He is due to appear in Downing Centre Local Court on September 26 over a charge of driving with an illicit drug in his system.
