Woods was preparing for his latest comeback at home in Florida when he felt a sharp pain in his left heel.
He underwent surgery on Tuesday and is expected to make a full recovery, but has been ruled out of the Masters next month.
Sources told DailyMail.com that the pair were planning on keeping their relationship under wraps, spending most of their time together at Woodss lavish home - 20 minutes from Vanessas property.
