Jorge Torres, 42, was found dead zipped inside of a suitcase. Boone said in the 911 call that he was stiff and purple
Boones chilling 911 let the court hear her emotionlessly tell the operator that she had found Torres dead
So, I fell asleep, and I woke up and he was dead in the suitcase, so I dont know what happened, she added.
Boone later said that Torres was purple with blood coming out of his mouth.
Hes stiff and hes purple, she exclaimed to the operator, and frequently reiterated the same description throughout the duration of the phone call.
The operator then talked Boone through CPR.
She counted aloud and continuously said that she had already tried to perform CPR and protested doing so, asking them to hurry up.
Boone can be heard later asking in a more distressed tone what happened before emergency services arrived on the scene.
She had testified that the pair had been playing a drunken game of hide-and-seek and Torres willingly got into the suitcase, before she zipped him up and went to sleep.
Torres was then found dead, which was later determined as a result of positional asphyxia.
On Tuesday, Boone testified: I looked over and saw him settling into the suitcase. I zipped him up. We thought it was funny and were joking about how he was small enough to fit inside the suitcase.
Boone also claimed that Torres was abusive toward her and used the opportunity while he was in the suitcase to talk to him about it since he was not able to get out.

Boone was coached through CPR by the operator, but protested for much of it and asked them to hurry up
She had also taken two videos of Torres in the suitcase; the footage showed him thrashing around while telling her I cant f***ing breathe.
Boone can be heard laughing and said: Yeah, thats what you do when you choke me... Oh this is what I feel when you cheat on me... For everything youve done to me, f*** you stupid.
She told the court: His hand started to come through, and so I shook the suitcase to try and get his hand to go back in. Telling him please stop doing this to me.
Torres could be heard telling Boone he couldnt breathe, while Boone laughed and said: thats what you do when you choke me
Boone said Torres had been forcefully trying to escape and that he was angry at her, expressing that she was always in fear.
He used to tell me he would make me unrecognizable, or I would have lost my life, she added before telling the court she used a baseball bat to poke his hand back in and hit his hand.
I started with his hand and he was still trying to get out, so I started pushing on the suitcase hoping that his hand would retract and go back inside, she added. Finally, he subsided and retracted his hand.
Boone had said her split second decision saved her from being attacked by Torres.
Thats when she went to sleep upstairs, awaking the next day to find his body was still inside the suitcase. She had said she feared she would have been attacked if she had let him out.
I dont think Ive experienced anything like that before. I was aghast and just cant describe the feeling of terror. He was purple, she told the court.
Prosecutors have argued that Boone showed now regard for Torress life, and her attorneys have claimed that she was the victim of battered spouse syndrome.

Boone was arrested in 2018 on a battery charge for the strangulation of her boyfriend, and Torres was charged with battery from an alcohol-fueled altercation within their home
A former neighbor testified that she saw marks on Boones arm or neck, and in conversation Boone would discuss her abuse, reported Orlando News 6.
Under cross examination, she said she wanted him to know how she felt living with his alleged abuse.
In response to a detective pointing out she refused to free him while he was begging for you to let him out, she said: It was not intentional. I will put my hand on the Bible. It was not intentional.
Boone has represented herself for much of her time in court and is currently on her ninth attorney after eight others were removed or quit.
She also audaciously requested to have professional hair and makeup for her murder trial, which was denied.

Both Boone and Torres have had a history of violence. Boone was arrested in 2018 on a battery charge for the strangulation of her boyfriend, and Torres was charged with battery from an alcohol-fueled altercation within their home.
According to the affidavit Torres told a deputy that Boone wrapped her hands around his neck attempting to strangle him after an argument, prompting him to kick her.
Then a year later, Torres was arrested twice in two months on charges of battery-dating violence.
Torres was revealed to be a father of three, his girlfriend has a son from a previous marriage.
