Bonhams already sold 42 pieces of Himalayan artwork from Feinstein and her late husband Richard Blums collection earlier this year.

These auctions come after extensive bouts of a legal battle led by Feinsteins only blood-related daughter and power of attorney, Katherine.

Feinstein served on Californias senate for 31 years. She died at 90 years old from rapidly declining health.

Known as one of the richest members of congress, most of her wealth comes from her family and marrying billionaire Blum.

Blum died a year before his wife and she was to collect $1million each year through his trust.

But handling Feinsteins abundant wealth resulted in a relationship-straining legal battle.

While Feinstein was alive, Katherine sued the trustees managing Blums estate and alleged financial elder abuse, according to Forbes.

Katherine accused the trustees of putting money that was supposed to go to her mother into trust funds for his three daughters Annette Blum, Heidi Blum Riley and Eileen Blum Bourgarde.

The cases judge ordered mediation and the appraisal of Feinsteins jewelry collection, but it is unknown if this auction is related to that process, according to the LA Times
