England footballer Kyle Walker has been served with divorce papers by his wife Annie Kilner, it was claimed today.

The 31-year-old has allegedly instructed lawyers to begin legal proceedings as she prepares to fight for half of the Manchester City defenders £27million fortune.

The documents were reportedly served weeks ago as their relationship turns ugly, and a source told The Sun today: Kyle was stunned when he got the papers.

Hes spoken to Annie about them and they are discussing the next steps. This doesnt necessarily mean they will divorce.

This is as much Annie flexing her muscles as it is anything else. He wants Kyle to know shes not messing about. But if this is a bluff, it may well backfire.
