BREAKING NEWS Woman is found dead at Port Melbourne

It is understood that police have found the body of a woman at Port Melbourne.

Police launched an investigation after a woman was found unresponsive in the water near the pier at about 10.40am on Thursday, Nine reported.

The woman is yet to be formally identified and the circumstances around her death have not been determined.
