The former Fox News commentator, 55, was addressing a campaign event for the Republican nominee in Duluth, Georgia, on Wednesday when he made the remarks.
He told the crowd: Hes p****d! Dad is p****d. And when dad gets home, you know what he says? "Youve been a bad girl".
Carlson added: "Youve been a bad little girl, and youre getting a vigorous spanking right now. And no, its not going to hurt me more than it hurts you".
"And you earned this. Youre getting a vigorous spanking because youve been a bad girl, and it has to be this way".

Referring to remarks made by Kamala Harris Democratic running mate Tim Walz, another posted: Might be time to revive that whole weird line of attack.
Harris campaign spokesman James Singer: This is f****** weird.
Carlson appeared on the stage and quickly whipped the crowd into a frenzy, reassuring them that liberals and political elites were the minority.
His remarks concerning Trump as Americas dad also set the tone for the rest of the event, some in the crowd shouted out Daddys home, as Trump spoke.

Conservative provocateur Charlie Kirk, who organized the event, used religious references to describe Harris and the Democratic Party as evil.
Kirk told those who gathered that Democrats stand for everything God hates adding that the election was a spiritual battle.
He added: This is a Christian state. Id like to see it stay that way, before he had those congregated join in a chant of Christ is King! Christ is King.
Others who appeared at the event included Robert F Kennedy Jr, the country music star Jason Aldean, and Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Carlson was by far the most popular of the pre-program remarks, receiving a minute-long standing ovation.

Carlson left Fox News days after the company settled with Dominion Voting Systems who had sued them for defamation.
They claimed that Carlson knew remarks made by President Trump concerning election fraud were untrue yet pushed them anyway for ratings.
Dominion sued for $1.6billion and settled with Fox for $787million at the 11th hour, with the company avoiding what would have been a highly publicized trial.
Carlsons show, Tucker Carlson Tonight, was the gleaming jewel in the crown of Foxs nightly line-up, drawing in 3.5million viewers every night.
