A couple were ordering food ahead of me at a takeaway restaurant. I snapped at their infuriating behaviour that is all too common in Australia

An expectant mother suffering from pregnancy rage has slammed a woman after becoming fed-up with an all too common and infuriating act at takeaway restaurants.

Maggie had been waiting in line for 20 minutes to order takeaway from a sushi noodle joint in Geelong, south-west of Melbourne, on Monday.

She said she ran out of patience after noticing a woman and her partner were still undecided about what they wanted to order when they were at the counter.

The partner appeared to want beef noodles with satay sauce, but the woman quickly interjected telling staff he actually doesnt like satay.

Maggie claimed in a TikTok the woman said to her partner: I think last time we came here it was too hot for you. You want it? Okay, were going to get the satay.

At this point Maggie was seeing red and just wanted to quickly get two dim sims and get out of here.

Then she goes, "Now, Ill have the chicken or the beef?" Then she goes, "The chicken looks better. Ill get the chicken", she said.

Then she goes to the woman, "Those big noodles there, those fat noodles, are they really bouncy and chewy or are they quite dry and have been out all day?"

Maggie was already frustrated with a long line but it got even worse when the woman in front of her took her time ordering her food

And Im thinking, "Its like 12.30pm. Whats all day to you?" 

And this Chinese woman goes, "Have you been here before? These are the noodles, they taste how they always taste."

The woman then decided to get the fat noodles, but by this point, Maggie was fed-up with her time wasting.

She said she then snapped as the woman had taken the same time it took four people to order and cut ahead to order two dim sims with sweet and sour sauce. 

Maggie said the woman then told her: Excuse me, Im literally in the middle of ordering.

The expectant mother said the woman was not only holding this whole line up, but had offended staff behind the counter with her question about the noodles.

Youve had 20 minutes to look at what you wanted to do. You havent done it and youre being selfish, she told the woman.

Maggie then grabbed her dim sims after paying, leaving the woman in disbelief. 

I walk out of there and this woman grabs me on the arm on the way out and she goes, "Thank you. Jesus Christ, we need to work on line etiquette." 

She was like, "You go in your car and have your dim dims, love, and feel better". She was like, "People like that need to be told."

Maggie shared another video reflecting on the incident, revealing she had no regrets about it.

This morning, I was thinking about it and it was aggressive and I probably made the situation worse, but I am angry when Im pregnant, I have zero tolerance, she said.

I got into a fight at the sushi noodle joint… feeling good about it.

Several social media users sided with Maggie, claiming the woman at the counter should have known better.

Line etiquette is also letting the person behind you go if you dont know what you want, one wrote.

Legit, pregnancy rage while hungry is next level. You turn into this monster that isnt even you for a bit, another said.

Decide while you are waiting!!! Dont hold up everyone and talk to your partner like they are a baby, a third added. 

Some defended the womans actions, claiming Maggie had to be more patient.

I disagree. People have the right to take their time ordering, one wrote.

They waited in the line just like everyone else. Youd only be waiting an extra 30 seconds to two minutes for them to make up their mind.
