But not all of Sir Keir Starmers new ministers are fans of the 17-year-old tabby who roams the streets of power. Scottish Secretary Ian Murray has branded Larry as a little s***, telling a dinner in Glasgow that he is the most miserable animal youll ever meet in your life.
His words come as a blow to the Chief Mousers status in Downing Street, having already been subject to competition from a new Siberian kitten recently adopted by the Prime Minister and his family.
