But what has happened to the Menendez familys lavish Beverly Hills mansion in the years since the parents gruesome and untimely murders

Built in 1927, the sprawling 9,063 square-foot villa underwent significant renovations by the homes original owner, Mark Slotkin, who in 1974 notably added soundproof rooms following a series of renovations to round out the massive estate.

In 1988 the mansion found its next owner, the Menendez family, when José purchased the luxurious property for $4 million - in what was reportedly an abrupt move after the pair of brothers were allegedly involved in a slew of burglaries.

Equipped with high ceilings and grand entry with a dramatic circular staircase, the home changed ownership once again in 1993 when it was purchased by famed screenwriter, William Link.

Link purchased the mansion for an undisclosed sum and reportedly lived there for eight years before selling the home in 2001 for $3.7 million to telecommunications executive Sam Delug.

Delug catapulted the opulent estate back into the spotlight in 2023 listing the home for an astonishing near $20 million.

The historied home eventually sold in March 2024 to the Lahjini family, a prominent Iranian-American bunch, for a downgraded price of $17 million.

The once-sinister estate is now undergoing a series of extensive renovations taken on by the new owners.

Reportedly including imported Italian limestone flooring, a gourmet kitchen complete with high-end appliances, and a walk-in pantry, the home may now see a new layout under the affluent familys current ownership.
