Trump mentions in Epstein files are untrue and sensationalist, DOJ says as 30,000 documents are released: Live updates

The allegations against President Donald Trump made in the latest trove of Epstein files are untrue and sensationalist, the Department of Justice has claimed.

The allegations against President Donald Trump made in the latest trove of Epstein files are untrue and sensationalist, the Department of Justice has claimed.

Thousands of new files, including hundreds of videos or audio recordings, linked to Jeffrey Epsteins case were made public by the DOJ this morning.

Trump was named in several documents, some of which contained vile allegations that the DOJ said were probed by the FBI and determined to be unfounded and false. The Daily Mail has approached the White House for comment.

The latest dump comes as Trump told reporters how he hated seeing photos of Bill Clinton in the Epstein files, arguing how everybody was friendly with Epstein before his crimes were unveiled.

Trump blasted Democrats and a couple of bad Republicans for releasing the Epstein files, which heavily featured Clinton, and said it was terrible seeing the former president in them.

He also acknowledged how photos of him had been included in the files, noting that there are likely pictures being exposed of other people that innocently met Jeffrey Epstein years ago.

The Epstein Files Transparency Act mandated the complete release of the Epstein files by Friday of last week, however there are still thousands of files that still have not been released.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche has blamed the delay on the need to redact the identities of Epsteins more than 1,000 victims from the hundreds of thousands of documents and photos in the governments possession.

DoJ says new Epstein documents 'contain untrue and sensationalist claims' about President Trump

The US Department of Justice said on Tuesday morning that a newly released trove of Epstein-related documents contains 'untrue and sensationalist claims' about President Donald Trump that were submitted to the FBI ahead of the 2020 election.

In a post on X, the department said the allegations were 'unfounded and false,' adding: 'If they had a shred of credibility, they certainly would have been weaponized against President Trump already.'

The Justice Department said that, in keeping with its commitment to the law and transparency, it released an additional 30,000 pages of documents.

Trump flew on Epstein's private jet 'MORE times than we knew'... along with pedophile and 20-year-old woman, new files reveal

A huge new trove of Epstein files has revealed that Donald Trump flew on the pedophile's private jet 'many more times than has been previously reported', including one journey with a 20-year-old woman.

Some 8,000 more documents including videos and photos related to the case of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein have been released on the US Department of Justice's site (DOJ).

Among the documents is an email from a New York assistant US attorney, which states that Trump was listed as a passenger on eight flights between 1993 and 1996, including at least four where Epstein's co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell was also present.

Trump's presence in the Epstein files does not imply any wrongdoing. The president has not been accused of any malpractice concerning the disgraced financier.

Bill Clinton's extraordinary statement over his prominence in Epstein files as he hints he has been made a scapegoat

A spokesperson for former president Bill Clinton has addressed his name and pictures emerging in the Epstein files on Friday afternoon.

'The White House hasn't been hiding these files for months only to dump them late on a Friday to protect Bill Clinton,' the spokesperson said.

'This is about shielding themselves from what comes next, or from what they'll try and hide forever.

'So they can release as many grainy 20-plus-year-old photos as they want, but this isn't about Bill Clinton. Never has, never will be.

'Even Susie Wiles said Donald Trump was wrong about Bill Clinton,' the spokesperson added, referencing Wiles' recent interview with Vanity Fair in which she admitted 'Trump was wrong' about there being incriminating evidence against the former Democratic president in the files

'There are two types of people here. The first group knew nothing and cut Epstein off before his crimes came to light. The second group continued relationships with him after. We're in the first,' Clinton's spokesperson said.

'No amount of stalling by people in the second group will change that. Everyone, especially MAGA, expects answers, not scapegoats.'

Trump DEFENDS 'big boy' Bill Clinton after 'terrible' Epstein files photo dump... and insists many meetings with the pedophile were 'innocent'

Donald Trump has defended Bill Clinton after photos of the former Democrat president alongside Jeffrey Epstein were released, calling it 'a terrible thing'.

Clinton appeared numerous times in the bombshell tranche of documents on Friday, being seen taking a dip with convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell and a woman whose face was redacted.

Speaking at a press conference Monday, Trump said: 'I don't like the pictures of Bill Clinton being shown, I don't like the pictures of other people being shown, I think it's a terrible thing.

'I like Bill Clinton, I've always gotten along with Bill Clinton. I've been nice to him, he's been nice to me, we've always gotten along with him, I respect him.'
