Lisa Nandy got behind the decks at the UKMusic and TikTok party in Liverpool for a Britney power hour.

She followed a performance by Pop Idol winner Will Young and told people to get out of my nightclub if they didnt like the Baby One More Time singer.

Its Nandy b**ch, she hollered to the crowd of students as she pledged to put the party back into the Labour party.

Ms Nandy couldnt help but take a dig at the Conservatives as she dedicated the last track Toxic in her set to the poor old Tories.

The Wigan MP said: I think we should be nice, I think we should dedicate this to the poor old Tories. And theres only one song for it. Heres to you guys.

Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar posted pictures on social media platform X of himself and Emily Thornberry taking part in a dance off, saying: What a way to end Labour Party conference - DJing at the TikTok Party. Hope you enjoyed the ScotLab playlist.

But his post drew fierce criticism from users for being f***ing clueless as many took the opportunity to vent their fury about Labour stripping millions of pensioners of their £300 winter fuel payment.

SNP politician James Dornan said: Im sure many pensioners will be trying to emulate your dance moves, simply in an attempt to stay warm this winter. Still as long as you had a good night.

One person launched into a foul-mouthed tirade and declared Labours government would be short lived: Absolutely f***ing clueless. Pensioners in tears worried and you tw**s p**sing it up.

Another said: Aye you party while pensioners freeze ,my old neighbour has been told shes £2.27 p over the limit for pensions credit that is utterly disgusting.

One pensioner dubbed the Prime Minister as Sir Liealot as she wrote in reply: So glad you’re having fun whilst us pensioners worry ourselves into an early grave.

It comes as Sir Keir Starmer ignored an internal party revolt as he suffered a major embarrassment on the final day of Labours conference in Liverpool after delegates voted to reverse the winter fuel payment cuts.

The PM was given the symbolic bloody nose by trade union leaders as the conference backed their motion calling for the reinstatement of universal winter fuel payments.

But, despite the humiliating vote result, party chiefs and Cabinet ministers insisted the Government would plough on with the policy to restrict payments to only those pensioners on means-tested benefits.

Health Secretary Wes Streeting said he and fellow Labour MPs dont have the luxury of ducking the difficult choices and decisions.

He again blamed a £22billion black hole in the public finances, which Labour claim they inherited from the previous Tory government, for the need to save money.

Labour delegates narrowly voted to restore universal winter fuel payments on the last day of what should have been a triumphant celebration for the new Government in Liverpool.

They showed their displeasure at one of the Governments first major policy changes by calling for the restoration of the cash lump sum for all retirees.

It came after days of protests, led by Unite and the Communication Workers Union (CWU), against the decision to make the payment means-tested, as part of cost-cutting plans by Chancellor Rachel Reeves.

Composite 15, moved by Unite and seconded by the CWU, was carried following a vote of Labour delegates on the conference floor.

But there was some disquiet at the decision in the room, with some delegates feeling it had gone the other way.

Sir Keir was not present for a debate on the controversial policy at the conference in Liverpool, with the PM attending a United Nations summit in New York.

He earlier refused four times to apologise for cutting winter fuel payments.
