Charming George Fox Saul was a well-to-do son of a lawyer and Round Table stalwart - until he was accused of smuggling £100 million of cocaine across the Atlantic in his luxury yacht.
Born in Norwich, Saul grew up surrounded by long sandy beaches and quiet rural villages in the tourist hotspot of Norfolk.
But it is this unlikely spot that the charming, friendly son of a local lawyer - as locals describe him - would make the setting for a crime drama worthy of its own Netflix series.
A new investigative podcast series by the BBC, Finding Mr Fox, has unravelled how the businessman allegedly masterminded a cocaine smuggling plot which stretched from beachy Norfolk all the way to Brazil.
The scheme centred on Sauls private yacht, the Rich Harvest, which he had sailed to Brazil in 2016 before it spent nearly a year at a marina receiving interior refurbishments.
Charming George Fox Saul is accused of organising a £100m cocaine smuggling plot from Brazil to the UK - all from the sandy beaches of Norfolk
It is alleged he planned for more than 1,000kg of cocaine to be hidden in a false bottom of his private yacht, before hiring four sailors to sail it back to the UK

When complete, he posted an advert recruiting a team of sailors to return his boat to his home in the UK - and three Brazilian sailors and a French captain eagerly signed up.
But unbeknownst to them, the journey would start a nightmare they could barely begin to imagine.
The team only discovered anything was amiss during a sudden search of the vessel during a stopover in Cape Verde.
Police found 1,157 kilograms of cocaine hidden under false bottoms in the ship - worth up to £100 million if sold on the European market.
I felt my freedom was going down the drain, Brazilian sailor Daniel Guerra, 43, told the podcast. I was furious, couldnt accept what was happening, you know? Id been really fooled.
The sailors protested fruitlessly that they had no idea about the hidden cargo - but a court sentenced them to ten years in prison for drug smuggling.
Meanwhile Brazilian police officers were certain about the identity of the man behind the plot: Saul, known as Fox.

When confronted by a BBC reporter, Saul denied the allegations that he is a cocaine smuggler
A few months after their convictions, Saul was arrested in Italy - but extradition paperwork to Brazil arrived too late and he was released.
Continuing their investigation, Brazilian police officers failed to find anything linking the four convicted sailors to Saul or to any criminal underworld, and their convictions were eventually overturned in 2019.
Pivotal in freeing the innocent sailors was one of Sauls alleged closest accomplices, Robert Delbos - a convicted British drug trafficker.
Delbos, 71, was jailed for 12 years in 1988 for attempting to smuggle 1.5 tonnes of cannabis into the UK. And before the Rich Harvest yacht left Brazil, police observed him supervising the first stages of the yachts renovations.
Officers extradited Delbos to Brazil, where he spent months in prison, but was acquitted of any wrongdoing after a judge ruled it couldnt be proved he knew about the drug smuggling plan.
Still Saul had not been brought to justice, and it was widely assumed he had gone into hiding.

But it has now been revealed he is living a normal life in Norwich, running his own property business and contributing to the local community as a Round Table club member.
He has even posted photos of himself with the citys then-Lord Mayor, James Wright, the BBC reports.
Reporters subsequently confronted Saul at a Holiday Inn on the outskirts of Norwich. When asked about claims he was a drug smuggler, he replied: Im not.
Back in Brazil, the sailors still want to see Saul hauled before a courtroom.
But the NCA has said there is currently no warrant in place to arrest the subject, and we are not aware of any offences he may have committed in the UK.
They added that if Brazilian police wanted to pursue the case, they would have to file a fresh extradition request.
Finding Mr Fox is a six-part podcast and part of the BBCs World of Secrets investigative series. It is airing on Wednesdays, with the debut episode premiering on October 30.
