Offices are opening their doors to dogs this month to give Brits a boost after Christmas.
A canine crèche in the workplace is being tested, allowing employees to bring their furry friends with them in a bid to increase paw-sitivity and reduce ruff days.
A number of offices across the country will be offered the service for Blue Monday on January 20, after a new study found spending time with canine pals can decrease stress and boost mental health.
The study, by Dogs Trust and YouGov, found that 84 per cent of people feel more positive after spending time with a dog, while 81 per cent say their four-legged pet plays a vital role in supporting their mental wellbeing.
Workspace provider Beton by Spacemade launched the pilot to allow workers to carry on with their to-do lists in the knowledge that their dog is being well pampered.
With Blue Monday widely known as the most depressing day of the year, the initiative provides a beneficial environment for office and coworkers, whether they own a dog or not.

Even for those without pets, the uplifting presence of dogs in the workplace sparks meaningful connections as workers take a break from their desks to relax and interact with the pooches.
Jonny Rosenblatt, Cofounder of Spacemade, said: Getting back to work after the holidays can be tough, and Blue Monday often amplifies those feelings.
Countless studies have highlighted the benefits of dogs in the workplace and, the crèche allows owners to drop their dog off only a few metres away and focus on their work without having to worry about supervising them.
Across all of Spacemades locations, we focus on facilitating meaningful connections. Our whole ethos is about getting the most out of human, in-person experiences and understanding the reasons people gather together.

Our canine crèche felt like a great way to do just that; it gives those with pet-parent responsibilities a workplace solution to dog care, while at the same time fostering truly meaningful connections by spending time with like-minded dog lovers.
Beton by Spacemade will be hosting the doggy daycare crèche on January 20, managed by an experienced dog handler on site at all times to ensure the safety and support of the animals.
Their network spans locations in London, Leeds, and Birmingham, offering businesses a working experience like no other.
