Quality Street fans have exclaimed Christmas is ruined after the size of a beloved chocolate is shrunk.
Nestle - which produces the legendary chocolate selection box - has cut the size of the legendary purple hazelnut chocolate by more than a tenth.

Quality Street lover Rebecca Gracey said: Half of the appeal of Quality Street is/was aesthetic.

Ms Gracey claimed she had not bought the selection box since the purple chocolate had changed shape and size.
A Nestle spokesperson told The Sun: The new shaped The Purple One sweets are slightly lighter than the previous shaped sweets, but the net weight of the tub remains the same.
This means people are still getting the same amount of delicious Quality Street product they know and love – just in a slightly different format.
Last December, research by MailOnline discovered that the size of the entire Quality Street selection box has gone down from 1,200g in 2009, 720g in 2018 and 600g in 2023.
