One Nation has disendorsed one of its candidates a fortnight out from the Queensland state election after details of her colourful past re-emerged.
Jasmine Harte was ditched as the candidate for Chatsworth in Brisbanes south-east after it emerged she had been accused of attempted murder in 2011. The charges were later dropped.
Naked photos from Ms Hartes glamour modelling past have also re-emerged, though she said she told the party about her past before she was selected to run as a candidate.
She faced charges of attempted murder and acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm 13 years ago, after a drive-by shooting where a man was shot in the stomach.
Ms Harte was accused of arranging to meet the man and having her boyfriend shoot him over an alleged $1,000 drug deb. All the charges were subsequently dropped.
One Nation disendorsed her due to her past, which Ms Harte said was a reference to the charges, along with the naked photographs of her online.
Ms Harte told the Courier-Mail she blamed dirty politics for digging up the old charge against her.
She said the court case was something I was tied up in and had nothing to do with, and I was unfortunately dragged into it.

Ms Harte said it had ruined her life at the time as she was innocent, and it had now ruined her chances in politics.
I have no hard feelings against One Nation, its the dirty politics of other parties for digging up dirt … holding my court charge against me.
She said she was not ashamed of her past. So what I have a history, Ive made mistakes and Im willing to stand up now and make a change.
In a statement, One Nation said it stands by its comprehensive vetting procedure of candidates.
Ms Harte has been frank with us about her past and understands the reasons she has been disendorsed, the partys campaign director Damian Huxham said.
He said all One Nation candidates are expected to meet high standards and that it also also expect high standards of the staff responsible for the implementation of our recruitment and vetting procedures.
In the 2020 Queensland election, the LNPs Steve Minnikin defeated Labors Lisa ODonnell in a tight race.

One Nations then candidate Aaron Clarke got just 965 vote from a turnout of 32,370.
Ms Harte has not ruled out running as an independent in a future election.
People might have more trust and faith in someone like myself to keep the politicians honest, she said.
Im going to wait and see how it all goes, stay out of the limelight for a bit.
Though Ms Hartes name and photograph have been removed from One Nations Queensland election candidates website, its understood that she will still appear on the ballot paper as it was too late to remove her.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted One Nation for further comment.
