A left-wing political analyst for under-seige network MSNBC sensationally claimed she could end up in a camp if Donald Trump returns to the White House.
Molly Jong-Fast, the journalist daughter of authors Erica Jong and Jonathan Fast, has been outspoken against Trump in the lead up to the election.
Her most damning critiques have been centered around Trumps immigration policy. He has vowed to undertake the largest mass deportation of illegal immigrants in American history.
Trump is telling us all about his potential plans: internment camps, going after his enemies foreign and domestic, including, presumably, journalists, Jong-Fast wrote in an article published in Vanity Fair titled We All Have a Lot to Lose If Trump Wins.
She asked will I be one of them?

Donald Trump addressed a huge crowd of cheering supporters. MSNBC highlighted how the same venue held a Nazi rally in 1939 - although its also hosted multiple high-profile Democrat events since then too
Will he clamp down on the free press? Will he take away the licenses from networks he deems insufficiently supportive of his presidency?
MSNBC came under fire on Monday for comparing Donald Trumps rally at Madison Square Garden on Sunday to a 1939 Nazi gathering at the same venue.
The broadcaster showed images of the Nazi rally at the Garden, complete with goose-stepping and Hitler salutes.
Days earlier, MSNBC contributor Paul Waldman suggested Americans voting for Trump over rocketing food prices are secret fascists.
Jong-Fast accepted in her piece it is hard to fathom what she is suggesting, but said there is a world where Trump imitates his strongman friends like Vladimir Putin or Viktor Orban or Kim Jong Un.

What would internment camps actually entail in the modern day?, she wrote.
Well, Trump has talked about up to 20 million undocumented immigrants - an operation of staggering scale that he will be bloody.
In a separate interview with Public Notice, Jong-Fast reportedly said: He wants to do concentration camps.
We might not be jailed right away, but we wont have a country that protects us anymore. We will be people sort of without a state.
Writing about potential deportation camps, Jong-Fast said there could be blue-state governors [who] would be strong enough to argue against the erection of such camps.
Maybe the camps would only be in red states, she mused.

While we dont know precisely what a second Trump term will look like, itll surely be chaotic and bleak, and could mark the end of something we certainly dont want to lose: democracy as we know it.
The extraordinary claims prompted fierce backlash from Trump fans on X.
One critic said: There will be a separate nepo baby camp.
Another said: As great as that sounds its completely absurd.
No one is going to be put in camps when President Trump returns to the White House.
The unlikelihood of camps notwithstanding, neither of you are that important or that interesting.
