A feud between neighbours in one of Australias most desired suburbs over a common parking issue has led to neither side being happy with the outcome.
A woman in the beachside Sydney suburb of Manly got so frustrated with her neighbours inconsiderate parking that she reported him to the Northern Beaches Council, which resulted in him being fined.
She admitted doing so was petty, but wrote on social media that she was fed up with the obnoxious guy parking across the footpath outside his home.
She claimed the mans over loud, oversized vehicle permanently sticks out from his property, partially blocking (the) footpath, and posted a photo to back it up.
Despite being parked on his driveway, parking this way is illegal and subject to a $283 fine on Sydneys northern beaches, and sometimes more in other council areas.
The council has confirmed the man was fined, however his neighbour claims hes still doing it.
This noise-polluting monstrosity should be banned, the woman said of the large ute which was seen with its tray sticking out across the footpath in the photo she posted on Facebook.
She added that the ute could be at least parked on the street (preferably not ours).

Under Northern Beaches Council regulations, residents must not park in or across a driveway (even your own), to ensure pedestrian safety and access.
Ensure your car is within the front boundary of the property or parked safely in the street, the council states.
Despite a fine being issued, his neighbour was shocked to see the drivers pride and joy still there in the driveway.
The fed-up woman took to social media seeking advice.
Vengeance is sadly not mine, she wrote.
Today I received an email from council saying the matter has been resolved.

Im surprised he doesnt get booked as he is blocking the footpath for prams and wheelchairs, one wrote .
