Serial criminal and former reality TV star Marco Pierre White Jr has admitted to a burglary at a tattoo and piercing shop ironically named Behind Bars.

The celebrity chefs son confessed to raiding the Behind Bars Body Piercing And Tattoo Shop in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, on September 19.

He was due for sentencing at North Somerset Magistrates Court on Tuesday having pleaded guilty to one count of burglary, but this was adjourned until next month so a pre-sentencing report can be prepared.

White only recently moved to Weston-super-Mare with his latest offence coming just over two months after he was handed eight weeks in jail for a spree of thefts in Chippenham and Bath.

Also on August 12, he failed to do a roadside drug test after driving dangerously without insurance or licence.

Whites thefts in August saw him steal a £382.44 pair of JBL headphones and some socks from a Chippenham Sainsburys, and then £2,000 of cigarettes from The Crown Inn in Bath.

He was living at his fathers hotel, Rudloe Hall Hotel in Corsham at the time and was given his eight-week sentence the next day at Bristol Magistrates Court.

White appeared on Big Brother in 2016 aged 21, and was kicked out after 11 days after romantically pursuing fellow housemate Laura Carter while in a relationship.

Four days after his exit, he appeared in court to answer a drug driving charge from the previous April, when he was reportedly stopped in a grey BMW X5 in Hammersmith with more than 200 micrograms of cocaine in his blood.

White announced in 2018 that he was attending AA meetings and told a trial he was then in rehab for alcohol addiction.

In January 2019, he was convicted and fined after calling police officers f*****s and n******s while they tried to arrest him for being drunk and disorderly in a train station.

The following June, he was ordered to pay more than £1,000 for running out on a £27 restaurant bill after his debit card was declined.

And a month later, it was reported he had to be dragged kicking and screaming to a police station after being arrested for allegedly smashing windows during a row with his father in Wiltshire.

His longest sentence was handed down in 2022, when aged 27, he pleaded guilty to 14 offences including carrying a knife and racial abuse, getting 18 months in prison.

Prior to his thefts in Bath and Chippenham this summer, White had been jailed again for stealing £250 from a café, also in Bath, in 2023.

His conviction, in June this year, came with the added embarrassment of footage showing his trousers and underwear falling down as White attempted to flee the scene.

After pilfering cash from the till at the Grade-II listed Abbey Deli, White - who had his face covered - snagged his tracksuit bottoms as he attempted to escape through a window.

This meant his bare backside was on display to the CCTV outside, but crucially so was his lower back - revealing Whites distinctive tattoos.

The latest sentencing, for robbing Behind Bars Body Piercing And Tattoo, will be on Friday, November 29, at North Somerset Magistrates Court.
