The price of a flat in Battersea Power Stations luxury development in South West London costs a staggering £1.2million on average, making it one of the most expensive places to buy a property in the UK. 

The Battersea General Store, owned by MD Raj Bathia, reportedly counts world leaders among its previous customers and serves some of Londons most pricey wine. 

The most expensive bottle of wine at the store is £4,250, according to the 46-year-old shopkeeper.

Mr Raj Bathia added that he sees famous people on a daily basis because a lot live here.

Locals have reported seeing famous figures including singer Sting and Bear Grylls, who reportedly knocked three properties into one to build a dazzling £20million apartment.  

Power station worker Kasea works for a number of the worlds richest people, she told The Sun. 

I cant tell you who I work for but its someone pretty famous but there are a lot of famous people who live here, especially in the power station, she said.
