President Donald Trump has warned NATO faces a very bad future if allies do not help the US secure the Strait of Hormuz amid the oil crisis.
In an interview on Air Force One last night, Mr Trump added that the US had been very sweet in helping with the war in Ukraine when they didnt have to so now expects allies to repay their debt.
When asked what allied help might look like, he said whatever it takes, adding that they should send minesweepers to the Strait, of which Europe possesses many more than the US.
Iranian drone strikes closed Dubai International Airport temporarily this morning too.
A fire broke out at the airport after a fuel tank was hit in the air raid and exploded in the vicinity of the landing strip.
No injuries were reported and the fire was brought under control by Dubai Civil Defence teams.
Airport bosses have urged travelers to use their official support channels after several flights were temporarily suspended.
