Two popular home delivery services have joined forces in a move that is expected to benefit Aussie shoppers.


Two popular home delivery services have joined forces in a move that is expected to benefit Aussie shoppers. 

Online bottle shop Jimmy Brings will join MILKRUNs app, increasing the number of alcoholic products to more than 2,000 on the rapid home delivery service.

The liquor delivery service has been available to customers in the app since last week but will be fully integrated into MILKRUN from November 28. 

Aussies will be able to shop for over 10,000 items  - and have their order delivered to them in under an hour.

The delivery fee will also be slashed from $8.95 to $5. 

The partnership also means Jimmy Brings will become the exclusive provider for beer, wine and spirits for MILKRUN, which is part of the Woolworths group.

MILKRUN co-chief executive David Berger told Daily Mail Australia the company is focused on giving their customers what they want.

Through combining MILKRUN’s extensive grocery selection with Jimmy Brings’ wide range of alcoholic beverages, we will be creating a one-stop shop for all of our customers everyday needs, he said.

With delivery to them in minutes.

MILKRUN orders are fulfilled from Woolworths stores across the country.

Shoppers can track their deliveries in real time and Everyday Rewards members can also collect points on purchases. 

EndeavourX director Steve Cuda told Daily Mail Australia the company, which owns Jimmy Brings, is pleased to partner with MILKRUN as the exclusive home of the Jimmy Brings brand.

This next phase of Jimmy Brings will streamline our ecommerce ultra convenience operating model, he said.

And allow us to continue to grow the brand in a way that aligns with how customers want to transact.

MILKRUN operates in 500 suburbs across Australia in Sydney, Newcastle, Canberra, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Perth and Melbourne.

It also operates in New Zealand in Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin and Wellington. 

Customers need to show their ID to the delivery driver for alcohol purchases. 

Shoppers can also choose to block alcohol products on their app.

Jimmy Brings was founded in 2012 by Nathan Besser and David Berger, who sold the popular business in 2017 to Endeavour Group - which was then part of the Woolworths Group.

Jimmy Brings has gone on to service over 80 per cent of the Australian population. 

The co-founders joined Woolworths Group in 2021 to launch Metro60, Woolworths fast delivery service. 

But when Woolworths Group purchased MILKRUN, Metro60 services was rebranded to MILKRUN in 2023.
